Robert’s career started in Austria where he discovered a passion for bars and mixology which led him on to Germany, where he worked under the guidance of Kaoru Fukuhara, a master of Japanese bartending. His next step was to London, the capital of mixology, where developed his talents, eventually running The Connaught Bar and Champagne Room, in turn being awarded Number 1 Bar in the World. Following his success, he moved to The Bulgari Hotel as Director of Bar and Lounge before joining The Arts Club.
