With the 2021 Turner Prize announcing a shortlist consisting entirely of artistic collectives for the first time ever, there is an increasing focus being placed on the importance of solidarity and community in the arts. Among the shortlisted collectives was Project Art Works, a remarkable organisation representing a collective of neurodiverse artists and activists working towards greater visibility and understanding of neurodiversity in culture.
Ahead of the announcement of the Turner Prize winner, we were joined by Jane Morris, Editor-at-large of The Art Newspaper, Kate Adams, Artistic Director and CEO of Project Art Works, Patricia Finnegan, their Creative Programme Manager and Tim Corrigan, artist filmmaker and Creative Director at Project Art Works.
